Privacy policy
What this is about
This privacy policy describes which personal data we process when you visit the website solvicy.cloud or write to us.
In short: the website sets no cookies, uses no tracking and loads no content from other providers.
Controller
The controller is nxvnt GmbH, Gronowskistr. 69, 48161 Münster, Germany. solvicy.hosting is a service of nxvnt GmbH.
For questions about data protection and to exercise your rights, write to kontakt@solvicy.cloud or by post to the address above.
A.1 Website: hosting and delivery
The website consists of static pages. It is kept in the storage and the content delivery network (CDN) of BunnyWay d.o.o. (bunny.net), Slovenia. bunny.net processes the data as our processor; we have concluded a data processing agreement with bunny.net under Art. 28 GDPR. Storage and delivery are limited to locations in the EU.
When you open a page, your browser necessarily transmits your IP address and details of the request, such as the address requested, the time, the identifier of your browser and the page you came from. We use these data only to deliver the website and to protect it against disruption and attacks.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is a secure and working website.
bunny.net also runs the name resolution (DNS) for solvicy.cloud. As a rule, bunny.net only receives the address of the DNS server your device uses. The DNS servers of bunny.net are located worldwide, so such a request may also be answered outside the EU.
A.2 Website: server logs
We have switched off the request logs of the delivery at bunny.net; we neither receive nor store logs of page views.
A.4 Contact by e-mail
When you write to us, we process your e-mail address, your name if you give it, the content of your message and the technical details of the e-mail in order to reply to you.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your message concerns a contract or steps towards one, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to answer your request.
Our mailboxes for solvicy.cloud are run by Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany, as our processor.
We delete your message once your request has been dealt with, unless a statutory retention obligation applies, for example to business letters under Section 257 of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and Section 147 of the German Fiscal Code (AO). In that case we delete it when that period ends.
A.5 Contact form
You can write to us through the contact form at solvicy.cloud/en/contact/. We process the topic you choose, your name if you give it, your e-mail address and your message in order to reply to you by e-mail. Topic, e-mail address and message are required; without them we cannot reply.
Your browser sends the details encrypted to our service at kontakt.solvicy.cloud. The service does not store your message; it only delivers it as an e-mail to our mailbox kontakt@solvicy.cloud. We do not send you a copy of your message. In the mailbox we treat it like an e-mail to us: we delete it once your request has been dealt with, unless a statutory retention obligation applies (A.4).
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request concerns a contract or steps towards one, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to answer your request and to protect the form against spam and overload.
Protection against spam: with JavaScript, your browser solves a short computing task before sending. The task comes from kontakt.solvicy.cloud, not from a third-party service, and contains no information about you. Nothing is stored on your device and no cookies are set; the task is strictly necessary for the sending that you start (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).
So that the form is not overloaded, the service counts requests per shortened IP address (the first three blocks of an IPv4 address, the first four blocks of an IPv6 address). For this it does not store the address, only a check value formed with a random key that is new every day, and deletes it by the following day at the latest.
The service and the mailbox are run by Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany, as our processor, at a server location in the EU. According to the annex to its data processing agreement, Hetzner processes data for a server location in the EU only within the EU; the companies in the USA and in Singapore that Hetzner names there concern only servers at those locations. We do not pass your details on to anyone else.
Hetzner's web server logs every request with an anonymised IP address; according to Hetzner, these logs are deleted after 7 days by default. Hetzner's mail server logs technical details of the delivery and deletes these logs after 7 days. Where Hetzner backs up the webspace and the mailboxes, these backups may still contain messages and check values that have already been deleted until the backups expire.
A.6 Recipients
Your data go only to the processors named above. We pass them on to others only where the law obliges us to. We ourselves do not transfer your data to countries outside the EU; for name resolution, see A.1, for Hetzner's sub-processors A.5.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). If you have given consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
Right to object
Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you can object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21(1) GDPR). We will then no longer process the data, unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Complaint to a supervisory authority
You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the member state where you live or work or where the alleged infringement took place.
The authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (data protection commissioner of North Rhine-Westphalia), Postfach 20 04 44, 40102 Düsseldorf, Germany.
Obligation to provide data and automated decisions
You are not obliged to provide us with data. Without the technical data from A.1 we cannot deliver the website, and without your e-mail address we cannot reply to you.
There is no automated individual decision-making under Art. 22 GDPR.
Changes
We update this privacy policy when the website, the integrations or the law change. The version published here applies.
